The Merida Big Nine 20 comes in two main variants based on the chainring setup: a 2x (double) and a 3x (triple) configuration, both offering an 8-speed drivetrain and a more upright riding position compared to race-focused models. 

• Frame: Double-butted 6061 aluminum hardtail frame with internal cable routing and mounts for a kickstand, mudguards, and a rear rack.

• Fork: SR Suntour XCT30 coil suspension fork with 100 mm of travel and a lockout feature for efficiency on smooth terrain.

• Wheels & Tires: 29-inch Merida CC aluminum rims paired with Merida K1080 (or Maxxis Ikon on some models) 29x2.2" wire-bead tires, providing good grip and smooth rolling over obstacles.
